SCS Lunch & Learn: 10 Reasons to see a Genetic Counselor
The Virtual Lunch & Learn “10 Reasons to see a Genetic Counselor” was recorded for Tuesday, September 26, 2023. We would like to thank the Ironwood Supportive Care Services Department and Mandy Kass for this video. The certified genetic counselors at Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers help patients understand the genetic component of their diagnosis. They also consult with family members about cancer risk and explain their genetic test results. Our certified genetic counselors, like Mandy Kass, collaborates with our multi-specialty cancer care providers to develop an individualized treatment plan for patients.
